Ingredients:
- 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions:
- Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the vegetable oil, and once hot, add the garlic, onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are slightly softened.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and continue to stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Pour the mixture over the shrimp and vegetables and stir-fry for an additional minute, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked rice.
